The Discovery Center at Stony Point is hosting a week-long community event that brings together literacy and hands-on discovery through a the launch of the new Scholastic Discovery STEAM Fair.
Designed for families, educators, and the broader Richmond community, the experience pairs book access with interactive STEAM learning, offering children opportunities to explore reading, problem-solving, creativity, and strategic thinking in one shared environment.

The Discovery Center at Stony Point is Richmond’s all-ages Chess + STEAM learning ecosystem. Through camps, clubs, leagues, and discovery experiences, the Center helps children and families build confidence, curiosity, and strategic thinking through hands-on learning and community connection. Located at Stony Point Fashion Park, the Center serves learners from early childhood through adulthood.
